Shelving for office
The shelving is certainly utilitarian enough, but I was looking for a second shelving unit to match one I bought from Sams a couple years ago. The original was sleekly industrial & more than a foot taller than this unit. It also came in a pale gray powder coat making it much more refined looking & good for an office. The unit I just bought holds plenty, but it definitely looks like it belongs in a garage or basement. UGH It also had metal burrs on the framing which cut my fingers (ouch) I'll use it until I need less storage; then it'll be relegated to a shed.

Not easy to assemble
Needed storage racks for new storage shed. Light metal uprights and lateral supports are hard to keep together when assembling.. It takes two people for easier assembly. Metal coating scratches easily. Sprayed metal framing with gray metal auto primer before attempting final assembly. Shelves are made of common press board and will disintegrate if they happen to get wet. Painted shelves with floor and deck paint to protect them. Once assembled with shelves installed, the racks seemed to be a little more stable.

Low cost industrial
Heavy boxes were showing signs of wear from shipping. some edge pieces were slightly damaged but in general it was not worth fussing over. These were not the same units I was hoping for and were definitely not the same quality as ones I bought a few years back. those are hard to find now.I bought 4 units adn they will work fine, just not as nice as I was hoping for.

Love these!
We have had two of these units for about 3 years or longer. I am ordering another today. We keep them in our garage with very heavy items on them and have never had a problem. They are the sturdiest shelving units I have seen. I'd recommend to anyone looking for strength. They are also very easy to dust/clean.

Decent Quality in Edsal Boltless Rivet Shelving
This unit is reasonably priced for the quality of product. Good design and very easy assembly give it a 5 star rating. I would recommend that you paint the particle board shelving flats before assembling them into the frame, as it will give them better longevity if something leaks or spills on them.
