Nice Heavy Duty Shelving Unit!!!!
These are nice and heavy duty. The only downfall of them are the 7 feet tall legs are made of 2 pieces and are held together with the middle shelf. So you MUST have the middle shelf in the exact middle. All other shelves are customizable, but that middle shelf is stuck in place. We have purchased almost 100 of these units to use through our warehouse over the years, they work very well.The price is excellent on them too, plus they are almost always in stock at our local Sam's Club. The older units we purchased came with a connector piece to lock shelving units together, they are no longer included. What we now use is a 5/16" bolt with a nut between the shelving units, and a nut on the outside to hold the units together. Basically a 5/16" bolt 1" long, and 2 nuts for each place you want to connect them together.Get a rubber mallet to put these together and your life will be much easier.

Great racks
Two people job, but get a rubber mallet and toss them together. Very good product for the price.

Great price but NOT easy to put together
I bought two of these for a long storage closet. For the price, they are nice, but a couple notes to buyers. It is NOT easy to put together; you definitely need a hammer or something to pound the rails in place. They do not lock easily together as described. I have a ton of cuts from putting this together, all over me. So, grab a hammer before you start. I also thought I could do it by myself but ended up needing my spouse to help me hold sides together while I hammered in place. Also, I'm not sure that I trust the weight limit for each shelf as described in the advertisement. As a matter of fact I will not be putting more than 100 lbs on each shelf, if that. If you stack it together tall, like the main picture, I cannot see that 100 lbs would be stable on the top 2-3 shelves. They are barely held together by the bolts, and all of my posts are aligned. I made one the tall shelf, and made the 2nd set side by side. I think the side by side will be more stable. For the price I shouldn't complain, but the frustration of putting it together and being leery about the weight per shelf makes me give it only 3 stars. They did arrive ahead of schedule though, by 4 days! Would recommend these shelves if you knew what you were getting in to with the caveats above.

Excellent organizers and price
I love the 48" width and sturdiness. Great price and I am glad that Sam's carried them in the warehouse, otherwise, it would have been a nightmare to have to wait for the shipment then waiting more for replacements due to damaged items. My only complaint is that we had purchased 3 but one of them had all of the long bars partially mangled (rendering them unusable) so my husband had to haul the whole box back to Sam's. They weigh almost 90 lbs. a box and it was a hassle, but a good opportunity for me to send him on a mission to buy 2 extras for the garage project down the line. Still, a hassle for him and I just hope that the next box of contents won't be damaged. Quality control needs to prevent this kind of hassle. All in all, these shelving units were worth the price and I would recommend them to anyone in need of organizing their cluttered space.

Love but slightly damaged
we got 4 of these shelves...2 had shelving that was damaged. Due to the items we are storing we did not need all the shelves so set aside the damaged ones. They are very easy to put together, look great and because the shelving is adjustable can hold a lot of items. For our needs they are sturdy.
