very nice looking bookcase
I bought this for my dining room. I needed a sturdy shelf to put my small 19 inch flat screen on without the fear of it falling off. I LOVE this bookcase I bought the cherry to match my dining room table and it looks awesome!!! I am very pleased with this product. I put it together alone on the kitchen floor on an old blanket so not to scratch it. All you need is a flat head & fillips head, hammer and patience!!! It took me an hour and the hardest part was putting the round front side pieces on. The unit is upside down and kinda tricky to get it in place and screwed on just take your time. Only thing that I messed up on was screwing the rounded edge into the grove one screw did strip but will not be a problem it has the other two screws holding it. It is a nice size and nice looking piece.

Nice Bookcase, Can't Beat the $, Looks Pretty Nice
Just got this tonight and put it together in a little over an hour. I am NOT a handy-woman and HATE putting stuff together as angles can be off, etc. and I did have to readjust 2 pieces that were a hair off. I put the bottom shelf at the highest notch and had trouble getting it on as it was hitting the plastic 90-degree piece that connected the side to the trim so I had to remove that, put the shelf in and put the plastic piece back on. Didn't have any issues with the top shelf. It's the best deal for the $ I could find around here and I've been looking for 3 days for a bookcase including used, craigslist, Target, Kmart, Sam's Club, ebay, Amazon, etc. and settled with this one. Paid for it online and selected to pick it up at the local Walmart and it was ready within an hour to be picked up! Box is a bit long and bulky but all-in-all good buy! The 'cherry' color I felt was more of a 'mahogany' color and doesn't match anything else in the room but that's what paint's for!

Better then i expected...
I got this as a Christmas present. Went 2 days before Christmas and this was the ONLY bookcase they had in stock at my Walmart. Apparently a lot of people want bookcases for Christmas, who knew? Took me about an hour and a half to put it together all by my self. I am 7 month pregnant and i found it very easy to put together. Only 3 things had stickers on it telling what part they where but i figured it all out by myself easily enough after reading the directions. It's a lot bigger then i thought it would be. I have well over 100 books i needed the bookcase for and i have no doubt it can hold a lot of them. It's very sturdy once the backing is on. As soon as i can i plan on buying another one. I got mine in the black finish and it's beautiful. It's darker then it's shown in the picture which is great because it's the exact color i wanted. Haven't put my books in it yet but i cant wait to finally have them out of boxes!

Great for the price
Assembly wasn't too difficult but still a pain, the finished product looks like it was a lot more than just $60 & overall it's a good product. Mine did come with a few scratches in the color, but not enough to send it back & nothing a little stain couldn't fix. I'm currently using mine as a media stand underneath my wall mounted TV, so it's perfect :)

Holds over 200 books
Attached i have a photo of ALL of my books in the bookcase and it's over 200 books and i could fit more in it. None of the shelves are bowing and that second self is holding a lot of heavy books. This bookshelf is awesome for the price. If you are looking for a very well made bookcase that doesn't cost you to much this is the best bookcase for you. I plan on buying another one soon to make sure i have plenty of room for my book collection to grow.
