Great Value For The Money
I ordered three of these shelves, 2 with doors and 1 without, for my daughter's book collection. I was a bit dubious, having seen the other 1 star rating for this product, but decided after checking a lot of other stores to go with these. We had some of the $50 bookshelves before and wanted something a little more classy. These were more durable than those cheap flat packs you can buy and the price was spot on. They went together really easily. The direction showed about 120 mins for each set, but my Mum and I managed to get each one together in just under and hour. We actually had fun putting these up. They were not tedious, like so many of the flat packs. It went together really firm and is holding up really nicely under the weight of our hundreds of books. The only complaint I have is that they did scratch easily in a few areas while we are assembling the shelves, but they manufacturer includes a pen to take care of any chips or scratches and the pen works like a charm. I am honestly not sure what the expectation was of the other customer, who gave this a 1 star rating. You are not going to get a new solid wood book case, complete with doors, for $199, no matter where you shop. We are going to be buying another 3 in the near future.

Very nice for the price
A Few nicks from transport but otherwise a nice bookshelf for the price. Better than I expected. I want to get 2 more for my upstairs loft.

Good quality for the money
Delivered on time ........then the fun began.My wife and I worked on this project and had some laughs doing it.......after a few back to front shelves we had our bookshelf. Setup approx 1.5 hr........follow the instructions do not take shortcuts........it's a two people setup.

This product has lots of space for books and other stuff. However, we have two things we don't like. When we assembled it, one parts (plastic) are brittle and when they were nailed into the hole, they were easily broken off. Second one is that the product has some bad smell, which will be gone in about one week.Overall, we like this product. It gives you large and extra space for books. We also like its color and appearance.

glitters but is certainly not gold
First of all the products were a day later than scheduled, no problem. Being home alone I had had to unpack each box & carry pieces upstairs to my condo b/c the boxes were very heavy. I was disappointed that I overpaid for particle board items. If it was not a hassle I would repack everything & return them. To think I picked Walmart over other stores for bookcases, and got rubbish...
