Truly Beautiful
Let me begin by saying that I am a 69 year old widow with arthritis and really bad back... That said, I can tell you that I put together this spindle bookcase by myself, while sitting down in a chair. It took me less than an hour and for most anybody else it would probably under a half an hour.THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FLAWLESS AND SO EASY TO FOLLOW. All hardware was included and all that was needed was a philips head screwdriver although the instructions stated you might need a hammer and flat screwdriver for using the enclosed hardware for attaching to a wall to prevent tipping.The pieces were clearly marked for assembling with small, removeable stickers.When completed and raised to standing, I could not get over how beautiful this bookcase really is. The wood is beautifully finished and the spindles add a richness to the look of the piece. When my friends saw it, they remarked: "This came unassembled?" They thought a furniture store had delivered it. Its shelves easily hold the largest of books and whatever treasures you want to display.The spindle bookcase looks far more expensive than it really is... Yes, sometimes you do get more than you paid for.

Love this shelf!
Great shelf! It was pretty easy to assemble and it is nice and sturdy. Most of the hardware is wooden pegs so not a whole lot of screwdriver action required. I have it in my apartment and it fits and matches perfect. I got the espresso color, and it is a beautiful ark brown. It is also a lot bigger than I imagined, so that was a great surprise. All in all, I love this shelf and would recommend it to all!

Nice but needs improvement
The Daysha 4 shelf spindle leg bookcase is nice but needs improvement. All the pieces and hardware were included and packed nicely in the box. However, the 4th shelf had irregular staining at the bottom. The instructions were clearly written and the assembly process was simple. However, I came across a major problem on steps 6 and 7. Step six requires that 3 back railings be screwed into the spindles of the bookshelf. However, there were no pre-made holes to secure the back rails into. The 3 back rails and the hardware were included but I was unable to attach/secure these to the actual book shelf. I fear that the lack of these back rails will make the shelf more vulnerable. Step 7 shows how you can secure the bookshelf to the wall. However, there were no pre-made holes in the back of the bookshelf to secure the bracket to a wall. Once completed the shelf looks great with the detail of the spindles. My only concern is its ability to carry/hold the weight suggested. The product recommends that each shelf can hold up to 20 pounds. But I fear that without the back rails the shelf will not be able to handle 20 pounds. Overall, this bookshelf is nice but really needs improvement in the factory stage.

Very nice bookcase with lots of space
I am very pleased with this classy Daysha 4 shelf bookcase. I love the rich dark espresso wood color. It has a nice decorative detail on the top shelf and holds many items. It looks great in my 2 year old daughter's bedroom. I like that my daughter can't reach the top shelf because I can display her cute collectibles that I got her and I don't have to worry about her grabbing them and breaking them. I put her stuffed animals on the lower shelves and she quickly grabs them to switch them around. Bookcase measurements are 46.22" H x 35.83" W x 11.81" and weight is close to 37 lbs. This bookcase is sturdy and well made. The spindles are a nice detail on both sides and the legs. The instruction manual was very user friendly to follow. I had my husband help me only because one of the spindles had a short screw and he needed to go to the hardware store to purchase a large screw. He put the longer one in the spindle and it fit perfectly. I had a missing part which was the small wall mount hook. I don't think I will need it but it should have been in the box. I would have given this lovely bookcase 5 stars but because of the missing hook and the small screw that should have been longer I give this 4 stars. I do recommend this bookcase because of the lovely design, high quality and has lots of space for your items.
