Perfect for small spaces
The dimensions given were correct. Fits nicely in our little space and doubles as a TV stand. Easy to put together. We love it.

What a great product
I bought the Orion 4 shelf bookcase and had to come back and order the 3 shelf bookcase! For less than $20.00, this is a gem worth finding. I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about as this is a very sturdy bookcase and is not made of flimsy particle board at all! It has been holding my printer and a ton of books for over two weeks now and there is no wobbling in the piece and it is strong enough to hold everything I've put on it.I had no problems putting this bookcase together either, and never had a problem with the wood splitting when I put in the screws, or hammered the nails to attach the backing! I had the piece together in less than a half hour and the only tools needed were a screwdriver and a hammer to tack on the backing. All the hardware needed was in the package, and I even ended up with some nails left over.Don't let the other reviewer's shy you away from this product! You'll be very glad that you ordered this, and it looks fantastic next to the Orion 4 shelf bookcase.

easy assembly
I ordered this BC for my young nephew. The quality is good for the price point ($22) It was super easy to assemble, took me about 20 min using a philips head screwdriver, but would have been much faster if my drill was charged had I used that. All the holes lined up perfectly which was a relief! It was packaged really well with cardboard reinforcements on all edges of the outer packaging for extra protection during shipping. I'm only giving this 4 stars because there is a significant amount of exposed particle board. The shelves are only finished on the top and the underside of each shelf is raw particle board. Also only the front edge of the shelves are finished, remaining edges are particle board. The exposed particle board isn't that noticeable and concealed on the edges once assembled. The finish appears to be a thermo-foil woodgrain, although could be a low pressure laminate...but definitely not high pressure laminate...so I'm not sure how long this will hold up. But for the price of the Bookcase, I think it's nice and I am satisfied with the purchase.

Great Little Bookcase
I am very pleased with this bookcase and for $22 it's hard to beat. The sides and shelves are made of particle board with heavy cardboard for the back; it is held together with confirmat screws, dowels, and nails. It is very easy to assemble which took me about 20 minutes with a rechargeable screw gun and a hammer.This unit has 2 adjustable shelves and the interior height is 31 inches so you could have 3 evenly spaced shelves at 10 inches each or any other combination.FYI:If you are missing parts for any piece of Orion Furniture you can request them at this address.
