Good Quality
This product is made in Canada, as such, the quality is better than most other pre-fab, particle board type furniture.It is sturdy although the plastic legs are cheap. This is not made to be moved around and will not handle rough jostling once assembled because the plastic legs are attached directly to the wood using self tapping screws, any movement will rip the screws right out.Other than that, it is very aesthetically pleasing.The only other drawback is that the top shelf is not tall enough to accommodate regular sized text books, so you have to remove the middle shelf (2nd from top) to accommodate text books on the 3rd shelf.All in all this is unit provides more aesthetics than it does practical function, but it serves its purpose if you don't have that many books and have many smaller items like DVD's or a Music Collection.If you have many books look for a different product that has more actual shelf space.

Good but smaller than I expected
I like this product b/c it stores stuff and I like to organize but it doesn't store large binders. Goes great with the desk and lateral file. The feet on this product are cheap...not hard metal like the lateral file. I ended up putting some of my large binders on the very top and that works out alright. It stores reference material nicely for easy access. Stores cd's and office supplies nicely for easy access and home office looks less cluttered, I really like that! Once things were organized I was happy so the product serves its purpose! Glad I purchased this over a bookcase because of the cabinet at the bottom that hides cluttery supplies and the smaller cubby spaces which can be slid all the way to the back for even more storage space.

not 100% what i expected.
There were a couple of pieces that were slightly bent and the directions didn't match up with what needed to be done to put it together. I did like the final product when all was said and done. I just dont think it was worth as much as I paid.
