The shelves look really good, very dark, almost black. I loved that. Very easy to put together. My only problem was that on one shelf, the piece you slide in to make the shelf look wider, was cracked. (it happened to be the last piece to put on) I didn't send it back. I just fixed it with some wood glue.

Sauder 3 Shelf Bookcase

Already owned 1 of these, and liked it so much, I bought 2 more bookcases. The dark wood looks nice, as it matches my baseboards, and doors in my room. Easy instructions, can be put together by one person. Doesn't look like other "cheap" wood particle cases I've seen.

Excellent quality

This is a great sturdy bookshelf and easy to put together. I have always preferred Sauder because their quality is excellent. My shipment came much faster than expected and the box was so well packaged that not a corner was damaged - a common problem I've had with other online stores. A great buy and extremely affordable!

Holds lots of stuff

This was almost heavier than one person could handle, which resulted in a dent or 2 in hidden spots. Once together, it seems very sturdy. Has more style than expected for the price. Shelf depth is generous, though lip edge interferes with wider objects hanging over.
