Nice Bookshelf
This bookshelf is a very nice piece of the bedroom set. We purchased the entire set for my son's first bedroom set (he just graduated out of his toddler bed). The bookshelf was very easy to put together and did not take long at all. The adjustable shelves are a very, very nice feature. The bookshelf even comes with hardware to anchor it on the wall which is a wonderful safety feature for a child's room. The color of this set is much darker than pictured but it is still a beautiful color. The only complaint I have about the bookshelf is that the shelves bow in the middle if the shelf is entirely full of books. We had to remove a bulk of books from each shelf and purchase bookends so the shelf wouldn't threaten to break. It does still appeared bowed though in the middle but I don't think it will crack or snap. We wish there was some kind of extra support for the middle of the shelves to hold more weight as most hardcover books are heavy. All around, it's a great bedroom set and we are happy with our purchase.

Sturdy
Use it as a bookcase for my kids playroom. Overall it is a good bookcase. It keeps my childrens books organized. Be careful with the weight you put on the shelves it cannot take too much weight.

Serves my purpose
The bookcase meets my expectations. I agree with another reviewer that the backing is flimsy as compared with the rest of the bookcase. It serves my purpose.

Nice sturdy bookcase
This bookcase was easy to put together, and appears sturdy. It looks much nicer (rounded edges, etc.) than standard 5 shelf units that sell for similar prices in the store. The color is a little darker than it appeared in the pictures. The 'ship to store' option was fabulous! It took a little longer than I would have liked to arrive at the store (~10 days). However, for free shipping of a large heavy item I am very satisfied!!

A nice size
This bookshelf overall is a nice size, but the shelve spaces themselves are a little awkward, there are two shelves that are very small, only a pocket-sized book could fit onto it easily. You can adjust the heights for what you want, but I found that no matter what, at least one shelf felt too small.The bookcase took 2 people about 1.5 hours to put together, the instructions were pretty good though.
