Very nice over all
Don't think I'm crazy but it was actually fun putting this together — and I am 72. I'm glad I read through the reviews beforehand and saw the one from "ralld" on the Mission Style four-shelf who says it is easier to assemble if you attach the cross bars in the back before you add the shelves.The style is more interesting than a regular clunky bookcase.That said, I have to give it only four stars because two of the pre-drilled holes for the recessed screws were not big enough for the screw head. I had to go buy different screws.

Good value
Packaged well, no damage, no missing parts.All bolts screw into metal fittings set into the wood.Sides not labelled...need to study drawing and match up fittings. Easily assembled by one person in 30-45 mins.

It's exactly what it looks like. I found it easy to assemble and it looks great in our living room It's a great buy for the money.

Very sturdy
Bought this for my office and for the price it is very sturdy and fits right in the décor I have. Very easy to put together and is exactly what I needed!

Awful instructions
Bookcase is nice for the price but hhe instructions that come with it are horrible. Just a one page diagram. I missed steps , not finding out til end, and ended up taking it apart 2 times.
