Almost exactly what we needed
Bought this for some extra book storage space. Have a small apartment so space is limited. Very compact, yet very useful. The 5 shelves offer plenty of room. Very easy to set up as it comes completely assembled. Cut it one star on meets expectations because the color was not what was expected. Website says silver, which we wanted to complement our decor. However, the actual color of the item received was grey. Did not return it as the color was not a very dark shade and even though not an exact match, did not clash with our decor.grey

Great for small spaces in office/computer room
Absolutely love it! Great for organizing. Bought the 4 shelf first was not tall enough, needed a little more room. Gave the 4 shelf to my daughter and I ordered the 5 shelf for myself. A little pricey, but worth it.

Provides the functionality I was looking for.
This item serves the purpose I bought it for. I've placed it right next to my TV/Stereo stand and I'm using it to store CD's and DVD's. The size and design is just perfect for that use.If I had one complaint it would be on the design of the shelves. There is a support rod that runs from front to back on each shelf. The problem is that the rod is on the top part of the shelf, rather than the bottom or underneath the shelf. This means that you can't lay something flat on the shelf because you've got this support rod running right through the middle of the shelf. I solved this by cutting out pieces of cardboard and placing them on each side of the support rod, then covered over the cardboard.Otherwise, very pleased.

Needed a slim shelf unit
I have a very small apartment and needed a unit that would fit into a small space.This unit only took about ten minutes to get set up. I loved the fact that no tools were needed. Just screw in the levelers into each base bring the shelves forward then stand the unit up and bring the shelves down onto the brackets.The only down side was one of the 'slats' on a shelf was bent; however by the time I get around to putting my supplies on the you will not be able to see the bent slat.

Only Thing Better Would Be Silver
I waited over a month for this to come back in stock. Everyone was sold out of all but the smallest (2 shelf) of these so I tried a couple of other types of shelving for a small small place, but I ended up returning each of them because they either were a pain to put together or were not stable enough. I was so happy when they finally came back in stock, and Walmart had the best price.As others have stated, there really is no assembly required, it is just a matter of unfolding and lifting or dropping the shelves into place. The feet levelers make it possible to stabilize the unit even if your floors are not level or if using on carpet.Read more
