Great Vinyl LP Record Storage Container
ASSEMBLY: Very easy and straightforward instructions. Five pieces interlock and secured with screws in pre-drilled holes. No glue required. Time to assemble: 15 minutes.STURDINESS: Hollow core promotes light weight. Cubes are being used to house 33 RPM 12 inch records, which are quite heavy. I do not plan on moving or relocating the cubes with LPs inside, because there is a risk that screws and dowlings may be unduly stressed. This is simply a matter of personal safety; the cube unit is stable and reasonably robust. However, keep in mind that the pieces are secured with wood screws.APPEARANCE: Honey wood-grain vaneer goes well with my other music and collectibles room furniture. The top of cube where screws are inserted may be fitted with provided plastic coverlets; screw holes are recessed to permit insertion of dowls to stabilize stacked cubes.ACCESSORIES: Impressive array of fasteners and dowls to secure and stabilize stacked cubes. The designer and manufacturer demonstrate sensitivity to the fact these are hollow core and light weight units, which are susceptible to sliding or bumping. In my case, I am reluctant to stack more than 3 cubes vertically because of vinyl LP weight and unit tipping concerns.OTHER CONSIDERATION: Notwithstanding manufacturer intent to permit vertical and horizontal modular arrangement, a nice addition to the line would be a stand or base that raises the bottom units 4 inches off of the floor. I constructed a simple base for this purpose, enhancing accessibility to items and appearance compatible with existing wood and honey vaneer furniture in room.BOTTOM LINE: An attractive, utilitarian, and cost-effective solution to storing and accessing vinyl LP collections.

great product!
The quality is excellent... like formica....At first i was stumped by "wooden screws" in the directions - These are the long metal screwsThere are short stubby round wooden pieces are OPTIONAL that can be used to connect 2 cubes vertically so that they do not move. First you screw the wooden screws deep in both cubes, and then put this short wooden piece in the left over space, and then put the other cube on top, so both cubes are "glued" together.There are longer, narrower wooden dowels that ARE required.i bought 14 inch fabric drawers, that are a tight fit, yet are working nicely.the fabric drawers are VERY deep and as i like clutter hidden behind closed doors, i can just dump everything in the drawers, to be organized later, and still feel neat.i bought white cubes, and pink drawers.

Nice, inexpensive option for storage
Bought several cubes for additional storage and organization of bags and shoes in my bedroom. Love how they look stacked or side-by-side, love the perfect size, love how easy they are to assemble and stack. They have hardware to attach them to the wall, too, if desired. Nice product, very useful, entire line offers excellent configuration options. I'm likely to purchase a few more.

sturdy and stackable
these are great storage boxes. After reading the reviews, I was a little bit leery. I thought they were going to be cheap and weak. But, I was pleasantly surprised that they are not. They are very sturdy. I purchased 5 of them and stacked them up almost to the ceiling. They sit in between a similar height closet and another dresser, so maybe that helps keep them motionless. don't know. they are not freestanding. Regardless, they are certainly not flimsy. I am using it to store clothes and books, not bricks or cinder blocks. They are well sufficient and suitable for my purposes. Certainly, worth the purchase. I had a hiccup with the shipping. Apparently, the original order was damaged. Walmart shipped a replacement right away. Very satisfied with the purchase.
