Easy assembly and looks great!
This is a nice looking, small bookshelf. The walnut color is a warm, rich brown. And with the exception of the cardboard back, it looks like a high-quality, solid wood piece of furniture. And once you fill the bookshelf, you can't see the back, so it looks great!The dimensions are approximately 28"W x 33"H x 13.5"D. So it's a smaller shelf, but it is perfect for a lamp, a couple of small picture frames on top, and it will hold plenty of books, etc. on the two lower shelves.Assembly was a breeze!! Easiest set of shelves I have ever put together. The hardware is packaged in separate compartments for each step of assembly (see photo), which made dealing with all those little dowels and cams super easy. All the pre-drilled holes lined up, and everything went together seamlessly. Took me about 30 minutes, with several interruptions from my kids. Also came with hardware for installing the anti-tip strap, which is helpful if you have little ones who might climb on it.Based on looks and ease of assembly, I would highly recommend this shelf, especially if you are looking for something with plenty of storage that will fit in a small space.

Just what I needed in my Space!
This Walnut Bookshelf is the perfect compliment to my living room and I just love it. It looks great paired with my matching walnut media center from the same manufacturer and gives me extra storage so that the media center isn't cluttered. Who doesn't need more storage space these days? I sure do! Assembly was easy, instructions were clear and each piece was labeled numerically so it was easy to put it together, it only took about 30 minutes to assemble by myself. The wood is good quality, thick, durable, and has just the right amount of weight. The backing for the shelf, where many manufactures skimp on material, is good quality, durable material also! It comes equipped with hardware in order affix the shelf to the wall, if you would like to use that option (I choose not to). I am using it to store movies, TV series and decorative knickknacks but it will store a wide variety of items. I am very pleased with this piece and I know my family will get lots of use out of it for many years to come! I have received many compliments on these pieces already which is icing on the cake!

Sturdy book shelf
Well made but does require assembly. I'm not handy with things like that personally but my husband is thankfully. It took him about 30 minutes to put it together but it would not have taken half that long had he had his electric drill for the screws. Since he did not he used a screw driver instead.Its a sturdy shelf and the company that makes it says it can hold up to 45Lbs on top of it and 40lbs on the shelves. My husband weighs 210 lbs and he sat on top of it to test it and it held him with out any issues for 15 minutes. But the company says nothing more that 45lbs on the top of it. I'm tempted to put my 10 gallon fish tank on top of it but probably should not. It would make such a fine looking fish tank stand if only it could with stand the weight.But I love it just for books and knick knacks any way and plants and could be used as a night stand by your bed. You could get some nice baskets and put on the shelves to use as drawers. Or put it in a foyer with a mirror hanging over it and a nice lamp on top of it. Endless possibilities!

great book shelf
I got this in the color Walnut, it is being used in our son's room as a bookshelf. I love the dark warmth of the color; however online the color did not appear to be as dark as this product. The set up was simple and quick. The only thing, the instructions were incorrect in showing how to attach the hook/lock bolts. But this was not enough to dissuade me from putting the shelf together on my own. The product is made of wood the top part is solid wood however the sides are not solid they hollow. The back also has a section to be screwed down. For the part attaching the back panel do not waste your time or your precious fingers trying to manually screw the back down. This is where a power drill is required in my opinion. It goes much quicker and it saves your fingers from blisters. Over all I would recommend this to others to purchase. It is small enough to fit in an already crowded room but big enough to hold heavy items.

No manual and corner chiped
I bought 3 pieces and none of hem had instructions I have no clue what I am suppose to do. The corner of one of the pieces chipped and it is very light and cheap material. I can't even see how it looks because they were so concerned to put a yellow paper saying "do not return to Walmart" that they forgot to put the instructions inside... So annoyed.
